Project
Project description
To carry out the analysis of potentially contaminated and irradiated samples, the Canadian laboratory CNL wished to be equipped with a SEM-FIB, manufactured by ZEISS. Within the framework of this project, DEFI SYSTEMES was entrusted with the nuclearization of the standard microscope, but also with the realization of the associated glove box, allowing the handling of the sample in its lead envelope.
As the insertion of the sample into the glove box is carried out by remote handling, a model of the installation was created in the premises of DEFI SYSTEMES, to simulate the operations.
Within the framework of this project, the DEFI SYSTEMES teams carried out the studies, the realization, the factory setting, as well as the installation and the start-up of the equipment on the customer site in Canada.
