Project
Project description
Within the framework of the treatment of optical components used on the Laser MegaJoule (LMJ), the CEA CESTA wished to have new equipment able to undergo a chemical attack, by soaking in a corrosive solution at 120°C. To ensure the cleanliness of the component, a water rinsing process, as well as a drying process by forced convection, have been integrated into the DEFI SYSTEMES equipment.
Within the framework of this project, the DEFI SYSTEMES teams carried out the studies, the realization, the adjustment in factory, as well as the installation and the start-up of the equipment, on the customer's site in Barp (33). Among the challenges to be met, the choice of materials was the subject of an in-depth technical analysis, to ensure their compatibility with the constraints of use (chemical compatibility, temperature, etc.).
