In the context of the development of fuel cell technologies for automotive applications, it is necessary to be able to characterize their performance according to the operating conditions. For this reason, the CEA wished to equip itself with a new mobile test bench allowing the testing of low power PEMFC fuel cells.
The MICEAU 2 test bench allows to supply gas to a fuel cell, in a dynamic way, by following a range of parameters selected on a dedicated HMI. Among these parameters, we can mention hygrometry, pressure, temperature, flow rate, type of gas, ... It also allows the monitoring and export of operating conditions.
Within the framework of this project, DEFI SYSTEMES' teams carried out the studies, the realization, the adjustment in factory, as well as the installation and the start-up of the equipment on the customer's site.
